Technology has had a strong history of both improving our lives greatly as well as aiding in the destruction of our lives - greatly. When cave people invented tools for creating weapons to aid in the hunting of animals they also invented a way of hunting down each other. Then the industrial age passed, humans invented complex machines that all made vehicles, transport, roads, railways, canals and the likes possible. However the Industrial age also brought the invention of the rifle and other weapons. Currently we are on the front of a new age in technology, an age where the fictional foundations of levitation, invisibility and renewable energy will be shelved for the arrival of practical and factual truth.
